What We Do
At Building with Grace, our mission is deeply rooted in honoring Veterans battling cancer. We aim to make a profound difference in their lives by constructing and gifting them and their families homes. Our commitment to this cause is driven by the memory and inspiration of our beloved son, Alex J. Dengler (1986 – 2017).
A combat Marine, Alex was also a sports enthusiast, a gifted musician, a college valedictorian, a son, brother, uncle, Godfather, nephew, grandson, friend, and ultimately, a hero. His courage and spirit continue to guide us as we strive to support veterans in their time of need.
Fundraising for Home Construction
Building with Grace is dedicated to building new homes or refitting existing homes of Veterans battling cancer. Through our fundraising efforts, we aim to provide safe, comfortable, and accessible homes where Veterans and their families can find solace and support.
Accessibility Projects
In addition to constructing homes, we are committed to enhancing the accessibility of existing structures for Veterans in need. Our team includes skilled professionals to design and implement ramps, modify interiors, and introduce accessibility features that enable Veterans to navigate their living spaces with ease, independence, and dignity.
